There are three main types of symmetry found in animals. They are, radial symmetry, bilateral symmetry, and asymmetry. Radial symmetry are animals that don't have a right and left side, but instead only have a top and bottom. most animals are bilaterally symmetrical with a line of symmetry dividing their body into left and right sides. The body includes a head and a tail, with a top and a bottom as well. Sponges are the only animal with no symmetry at all.
Radial Symmetry Examples: Starfish, Jellyfish, Sea Anemones, and Coral.
Bilateral Symmetry Examples: Humans, Lobster
Asymmetry Examples: Sponges, Alpheidae.
