These creatures are crabs and they like to live on either land or in water for their survival and have no backbones because they have an exoskeleton. They move around on 6-8 legs and there are over 42,000 species of crustaceans that live today on Earth. They are crabs and have three different parts on their body, the head, thorax, and the abdomen. The exoskeleton structure on these creatures gives their body structure and support for their own natural survival. They are bilaterally symmetrical.
